Big-hearted Derbyshire and Yorkshire based dealer group, Gilder Group, who take an active part in many aspects of their local community, have long supported local charity the Ashgate Hospice in Chesterfield, which provides specialist care, support and advice for seriously ill people and their families.
In a move designed to ho help the charity workers get around more easily, Dave Littlewood, Dealer Principal at the firm’s Chesterfield Mitsubishi dealership, Gilder Chesterfield, recently handed over the keys to a Mitsubishi ASX 3 1.6.
Talking about the gesture, Alison Ward-Foster, Partnership Manager for the hospice said, “Our patients and staff were absolutely thrilled when the Gilder Group presented us with a brand new Mitsubishi ASX. Our patients will now be able to come and go from our Day Hospice, travelling in comfort and style.”
On behalf of Gilder Group, Littlewood, said, “We are delighted to continue our support for Ashgate Hospice. We hope that this year’s gift of a Mitsubishi ASX will prove to be as reliable and hard working as all the staff at the Hospice, who regardless of the weather turn up to provide essential caring, often to remote parts of Derbyshire. The staff’s selflessness and good humour rubs off on us all, if we can make their life and that of their patient’s a little easier, then that’s a good job well done!”
