Premier Kia named main sponsor for Feel Good Family Picnic 2025
Premier Kia will headline sponsor this summer’s Feel Good Family Picnic events, bringing electric vehicles and community engagement to four Rochdale borough parks.
Premier Kia has been confirmed as the main sponsor for this year’s Feel Good Family Picnic, a series of council-organised community events set to take place across Rochdale, Middleton, Littleborough and Heywood from 29th July to 1st August 2025.
The picnics, run by the team behind the Rochdale Feel Good Festival, attracted more than 15,000 attendees last year. This summer’s programme will span four days of live performances, music, sports and family activities in local parks, culminating at Queen’s Park in Heywood.
Ben Bird, director at Premier Kia, said: “We’ve supported Rochdale Feel Good Festival since 2018 and I’m pleased to extend this to include the Feel Good Family Picnic which we are very happy to be a part of this summer. These eagerly awaited events are all about getting outside and having a great experience with family and friends during the school holidays. Premier Kia is committed to the local community and this event gives us another opportunity to join in the fun.”
Councillor Sue Smith, cabinet member for communities and co-operation at Rochdale Borough Council, said: “We’re very grateful for this support from Premier Kia which is invested into the event to enable us to deliver an even more enchanting and unforgettable time for our visitors this July and August. The Feel Good Family Picnic’s will be filled with fabulous free live performances, music, activities and magical entertainment to capture the imaginations of families in our beautiful parks and public spaces.”
Premier Kia, based on Molesworth Street in Rochdale, will showcase models including the Kia EV3, EV6 and EV9 at the events. The 2025 picnics form part of Rochdale’s programme as Greater Manchester Town of Culture 2025–26 and are backed by the Government’s Shared Prosperity Fund, the Greater Manchester Combined Authority and Without Walls, a consortium supporting outdoor arts across England.
