MOTORS rebrands Brentford FC sleeve sponsorship to Cazoo in expanded partnership

Cazoo has become Brentford FC’s official sleeve sponsor from the 2025/26 season, as part of a broader strategic partnership with MOTORS.

MOTORS has expanded its partnership with Brentford Football Club by switching its sponsorship to Cazoo, which becomes the Premier League team’s official sleeve partner from the 2025/26 season.

Cazoo branding will appear on the sleeves of all men’s first team playing and training kits, and will also feature on the kits of Brentford’s men’s B team, women’s teams, and Academy sides. MOTORS, which acquired Cazoo in 2024 and relaunched it as a used car digital marketplace in March 2025, aims to use the brand to challenge the current market leader in the online automotive space.

Lucy Tugby, marketing director at Cazoo, said: “The move realigns our partnership to pair Cazoo and Brentford, two brands that share a challenger mentality and are disrupting their respective markets.” She added: “The message to football fans and our dealer partners is clear: Cazoo is back, now in a new incarnation as a used car digital marketplace.”

As part of the agreement, Cazoo will activate in-stadium media placements at Brentford’s Gtech Community Stadium and access players for exclusive social media campaigns. It will also work with the Brentford FC Community Sports Trust to deliver bespoke local initiatives.

“We’re thrilled to have this opportunity to expand our partnership with Brentford FC and look forward to having the Cazoo brand prominently displayed on the sleeves of next season’s kit,” said Tugby. “This move signals the next step in our strategic partnership with the club and an important acceleration in our stated ambition to be the challenger marketplace in the UK by leveraging the Cazoo brand and turning this into traffic and enquiries for dealers.

Brentford’s commercial director, Fran Jones, said: “This partnership continues to grow and go from strength to strength. I’m delighted that Cazoo has agreed to become the sleeve partner for our Men’s First Team and will feature on the kits for our Men’s B Team, Women’s teams and Academy teams.

“We will shortly be launching our new kits and training wear for the 2025/26 season, including a celebratory home shirt that commemorates 100 years of the club wearing our iconic red and white stripes. I can’t wait to see it launched and for Cazoo to be such an important part of it.”
