Kia has launched a new unified mobile app for customers in Europe, bringing together vehicle connectivity, charging, and maintenance tools in one digital platform. The Kia App, which integrates five of the brand’s existing services, marks the start of a regional pilot outside Korea, with Europe selected as the first international market.

Marc Hedrich, president and CEO of Kia Europe, said: “The new Kia App is more than just a digital tool; it is a gateway to a seamless and intelligent mobility experience. By merging multiple services into one powerful app, we are making everyday interactions with Kia vehicles smarter, more efficient and fully connected to our customers’ lifestyles.”

The app unifies Kia Connect, Kia Charge, MyKia, Kia Warranty Book and Kia Owner’s Manual into one system, providing users with access to remote vehicle control, EV route planning, real-time charging management and digital service history. It has been recognised with a 2025 iF Design Award for Mobile Application UI Design.

Key features include remote start and climate control, lock and unlock functionality, EV route and charging insights, and service booking. Users can also search for dealers, view their warranty booklet and access the vehicle manual within the app. Charging management tools include tariff visibility and contract management via Kia Charge.

Existing Kia customers can log into the app with their current credentials, with all account data and settings transferred automatically. The new platform also allows shared access for co-drivers under a single account.

Kia said the launch is part of its broader digital strategy, which includes future updates for business customers and fleet managers, particularly in preparation for the upcoming PV5 vehicle under its Platform Beyond Vehicle (PBV) initiative. Additional services such as Kia Drive are also in development.

As the new app becomes fully operational, the company will phase out the existing standalone apps over the coming months. Customers are being encouraged to download the new Kia App via the App Store or Google Play.
