Volkswagen has expanded its free charging incentive for electric car buyers, increasing the offer to cover up to 30,000 miles of free home charging when using OVO’s Charge Anytime service.

The improved deal, which runs until 31st May, rewards customers ordering a new Volkswagen electric vehicle with energy credit worth up to 10,000 miles at the point of purchase, plus an additional 10,000 free miles each year for two years, provided they remain on OVO’s Charge Anytime tariff.

Charge Anytime can be added to any existing OVO energy plan and allows customers to charge their cars at home for just 7p per kWh, regardless of the time of day.

After the May deadline, the offer will revert to its previous terms of 10,000 free miles at purchase and a further 1,000 miles for each of the following two years.
