Vertu MINI Exeter is backing North Devon Hospice as part of MINI’s Local MINI Hero initiative, which encourages dealerships to actively support and engage with their communities.

The dealership will sponsor and attend two major fundraising events in 2025 – the hospice’s recent Nightwalk and the upcoming North Devon Marathon on 29th June. Both events will feature two MINI vehicles on display as part of the dealership’s show of support.

Throughout the year, the team at Vertu MINI Exeter will also take part in further fundraising efforts to back the hospice, which provides expert care to people in North Devon facing cancer and other life-limiting conditions.

Gareth Cornell, CMA general manager at Vertu MINI Exeter, said: “We’re incredibly proud to be supporting North Devon Hospice this year. The work they do is nothing short of extraordinary, and through the MINI Local Hero programme we’re able to play a small part in giving back to the community. We’re looking forward to the upcoming events and hope to raise as much as we can to help the hospice continue its vital work.”

Claire Paine from North Devon Hospice added: “We’re so grateful to Vertu MINI Exeter for choosing to support North Devon Hospice through sponsorship and fundraising. Their involvement in events like the Nightwalk and the North Devon Marathon helps to raise awareness and vital funds, allowing us to continue caring for local people who are facing the toughest of times. Partnerships like this truly make a difference.”

North Devon Hospice has been supporting the region for over 40 years, delivering care at home and at its hospice facility to ensure dignity and comfort for patients and their families.
