“Their vehicles report fewer faults than competitors, reinforcing their reputation for durability and dependability.

“From the compact and efficient Toyota Yaris to the rugged Land Cruiser and the ever-popular Corolla, Toyota models are engineered to withstand high mileage with minimal issues.

“Their commitment to high-quality engineering, cutting-edge hybrid technology, and low maintenance costs makes them the most reliable car brand in the UK.

“The automotive industry is continuously evolving, with manufacturers improving reliability through better engineering, smarter software, enhanced materials, and predictive diagnostics.

“While no car is entirely failure-proof, brands are actively reducing common causes of breakdowns, making vehicle ownership more convenient and cost-effective than ever before.”

Honda placed second with an 8.85% claim rate, while Mazda ranked third at 11.47%. Land Rover sat at the bottom of the table with a 35.86% claim rate and the highest average claim cost at £984.04.
