Sportif Suzuki marks 45 years as Oxfordshire dealer with regional award win

Sportif Suzuki in Long Hanborough is celebrating 45 years with the brand and was recently named Dealer of the Year for its region at Suzuki’s National Dealer Conference.

Sportif Suzuki is celebrating 45 years of service as a trusted Suzuki dealer in Long Hanborough, Oxfordshire. Operating from Witney Road, the dealership has been providing Suzuki vehicles and support to local customers since 1979, trading under various names including Hotson Suzuki and John Bowtell Suzuki before adopting its current name in 2000.

Nick Allen, managing director of Sportif Suzuki, joined the business in 2001 as dealer principal and general manager. He and his wife Annie purchased the dealership in 2018 and have since overseen continued growth. Earlier this year, Sportif Suzuki was named Dealer of the Year for its region at Suzuki’s National Dealer Conference, following a nationwide assessment based on sales and customer experience.

Nick Allen, managing director at Sportif Suzuki, said: “We’re so proud of what we’ve achieved here and the legacy that has been created to date. We’d like to thank all our customers who have put their trust in us since 1979, our team of employees here at the dealership for their amazing hard work and commitment and of course Suzuki GB themselves for their continued support. Whilst the group has seen some changes in management over the past 45 years, our ethos has always remained the same, to provide outstanding customer service and experience to our customers here in Oxfordshire.”

Sportif Suzuki was also recognised for its long-standing loyalty to the brand during the conference, which celebrated dealership achievements across Suzuki’s UK network.
