Lloyd Motor Group has announced the opening of a new BYD franchise in Blackpool, representing a further expansion of the North of England automotive retailer’s operations in Lancashire. The new dealership will be located at the current Lloyd Select Blackpool site on Whitehills Business Park and is expected to create three new jobs in the area.

The addition marks BYD’s continued expansion across UK dealer networks, with the Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer establishing a growing presence in the British market. The Blackpool location will showcase BYD’s complete lineup of all-electric passenger vehicles, providing Lancashire customers with increased access to the brand’s EV range.

The new franchise joins Lloyd Motor Group’s established Blackpool operations, which include BMW, MINI, Bodyshop and Select businesses.
