Leapmotor is inviting Londoners to take a leap—literally and figuratively—into electric motoring, with a one-day pop-up showroom and bungee jump experience in Coram’s Fields, central London.
Open from 10am to 5pm on 25th June, the temporary showroom is offering visitors a free bungee jump from a 50-metre crane on a first-come, first-served basis.
Alongside the adrenaline attraction, customers will be able to view Leapmotor’s full EV line-up, including the T03 city car and C10 SUV.
The event marks Leapmotor’s latest marketing push following its official UK launch earlier this year. It is designed to encourage hesitant drivers to take the plunge into electric vehicle ownership.
Damien Dally, managing director, Leapmotor UK, said: “Leapmotor is on a mission to be the best value EV brand in the UK and make electric driving accessible to everyone.
“It’s clear many drivers are still nervous about making the switch to electric, but we believe our offering, highly specified, affordable electric cars jammed-packed with technology, are the perfect first step into electric.
“As for our pop-up showroom, a bungee jump can feel daunting for a lot of people —but sometimes taking a leap out of your comfort zone is exactly what’s needed.
“For some the idea of switching to electric can feel the same way at first, but unlike a bungee jump, there’s nothing scary about going electric.”
The T03 is priced from £15,995 or £199 per month on a 0% APR personal contract plan. It offers a WLTP range of up to 165 miles and comes equipped with features including a panoramic sunroof, rear view camera, keyless start, and Level 2 driving assistance functions.
The C10, a larger D-segment SUV priced at £36,500, includes premium features such as a heated steering wheel, 12-speaker hi-fi, 360-degree camera, and a range of 263 miles (WLTP).
Leapmotor currently operates through 46 UK retailers, with plans to grow this to 70 by the end of 2025. The brand is part of a joint venture with Stellantis, which holds a 51% stake.
