Isuzu Truck UK has appointed Aquila Truck Centre’s Gloucester facility as a full sales, parts, and service dealer, expanding its network in the South West.
The addition complements Aquila’s existing Isuzu Truck UK dealerships in Tipton and Worcester, with the aim of creating a comprehensive support network along the M5 corridor to the Midlands.
The Gloucester site features six skilled technicians, five service bays, and a parts department fully stocked with Genuine Isuzu parts.
Located in a predominantly rural area, the dealership is positioned to serve businesses that favor Isuzu trucks for their reliability, compact size and payload capacity, which are well-suited to the local terrain.
Jack Mullaney, group sales director of Aquila Truck Centres, said: “Our customers love Isuzu vehicles because they’re so perfectly suited to the winding roads of Gloucestershire.
“We’re a family firm, and though we have a fairly big geographical footprint, we like to think we’re still small enough to deliver a personal service, where every customer knows we truly care about their business needs, no matter the size of their fleet.”
The partnership between Isuzu Truck UK and Aquila Truck Centres dates back to 2012, when they began working together to provide support in the West Midlands and Shropshire areas.
With more than 150 employees across seven sites, Aquila now represents the Isuzu Truck brand at three locations.
Mullaney added: “Isuzu has always been very supportive of its dealers, and we have an excellent working relationship.
“The team goes out of their way to make sure that we can deliver the very best product and aftersales support to our customers.
“The process of bringing the Gloucester site into the Isuzu Truck UK network began almost a year ago, because we realised there was a need for more localised representation in the area, and we were keen to provide that.”

The Gloucester dealership operates with extended hours, open Monday to Thursday from 6am to midnight, Fridays from 6am to 11pm, and Saturdays 7am to 1pm.
