FIAT has marked its return to the B-segment with the launch of the new Grande Panda Hybrid, a compact city-focused model designed to deliver affordable, electrified mobility for families and urban drivers. Starting from £18,035 on-the-road, the Grande Panda Hybrid offers three trim levels and a range of features aimed at balancing style, efficiency, and practicality.

The new model builds on the fully electric version launched earlier this year and forms part of FIAT’s broader electrification strategy. Designed entirely at FIAT’s Centro Stile in Mirafiori, Turin, the Grande Panda sits on Stellantis’ Smart-Car Platform, supporting both hybrid and electric variants.

Measuring 3.99 metres long, 1.76 metres wide, and 1.58 metres high, the hybrid version combines a compact footprint with interior space for five passengers. It features a 110HP 1.2-litre 3-cylinder turbocharged engine paired with a 48V Li-ion battery and 6-speed dual-clutch eDCT automatic transmission. Low-speed, electric-only driving functions—such as e-parking, e-creeping, and e-launch—allow for short electric trips under 18mph, with a range of up to 0.6 miles in electric mode.

FIAT has positioned the model as a “smart, electrified, and smooth” vehicle aimed at urban mobility. Its interior uses sustainable materials such as BAMBOX Bamboo Fiber Tex® and Lapolen Ecotek, with 140 recycled beverage cartons used in each car. Boot space is 412 litres.

Three trims are available: Pop, Icon, and La Prima. All versions come with a 10.25” touchscreen, cruise control, LED lighting, and parking sensors as standard. The Icon adds roof rails and alloy wheels, while the La Prima includes 17” wheels, a rear-view camera, and heated seats.

Connectivity is handled via a 10” digital cluster and FIAT’s mobile app, with emergency and vehicle health features included under Connect ONE, and additional services under the optional Connect PLUS.

The Grande Panda Hybrid will go on sale in the UK this summer, priced from £18,035 for the Pop, £19,035 for the Icon, and £21,035 for the La Prima.
