The Farizon SV van will make its UK preview appearance at Everything Electric London from 16th – 18th April at Excel London, ahead of its full launch at the Commercial Vehicle Show later this month.
The SV will be displayed in the Live EV Arena across the three-day event, where electric van expert Paul Kirby and Fully Charged presenter Imogen Bhogal will conduct a live review, while visitors can also view the vehicle in the Commercial Vehicles Zone.
Farizon claims the new SV will deliver “a compelling blend of cargo-carrying practicality, impressive real-world efficiency and performance, and optimum driver comfort and convenience” with a host of world-first technologies.
These include an advanced drive-by-wire platform, an innovative payload monitoring system that uses ride-height sensors to calibrate vehicle weight, and a 360° Surround View camera. The vehicle has also secured the highest Platinum Euro NCAP safety rating.
The new commercial EV will be available in five different size combinations (L1 H1, L1 H2, L2 H2, L2 H3 and L3 H3), all featuring an extra-low loading height of 550 mm. Buyers can choose from battery options of 67 kWh, 83 kWh or 106 kWh.
The SV includes standard features that are typically paid options on competitor vans, such as automatic headlights with Intelligent High Beam Control, automatic wipers, heated and ventilated seats, and a heated windscreen.
The Farizon SV will officially launch at the Commercial Vehicle Show at the NEC from 29th April to 1st May, with prices starting from £45,000 OTR plus VAT.
Order books are already open with first deliveries scheduled for May. The vehicle is being introduced to the UK market by Jameel Motors UK, a London-based automotive distribution business. Farizon, founded in 2016, is the commercial vehicle division of Geely, China’s largest private vehicle manufacturer.
