Multi-franchise dealer group Bristol Street Motors has opened a new Renault and Dacia outlet in Plymouth.

The centre, which required an investment of £820,000 and is expected to create 10 new jobs over the next 12 months, is according to Bristol Street Motors owner Vertu Motors evidence of its commitment to expanding the group’s presence in the southwest region.

The dealership has been treated with the latest Renault and Dacia brand identity, incorporating a minimalist logotype inspired by objects often found in garages and car shops, such as gears, chains, and tools – this is said to symbolise strength, reliability, and functionality.

The new site in Plymouth takes Vertu’s total dealership count in the southwest to 35 outlets and over the last 18 months the group has expanded significantly, most recently acquiring Rowes Garages dealerships in Plymouth, Plymstock and Truro.

Commenting on the opening of the new outlet Bristol Street Motors CEO Robert Forrester said that the Group is excited to bring more job opportunities to the area and to provide customers with a state-of-the-art facility for their Renault and Dacia needs.

“This latest site has not only expanded our footprint but has also allowed us to better serve our customers with a wider range of vehicles – we look forward to building on our success and further strengthening our presence in the region,” Forrester said.

General Manager Darren Goble, (pictured above with some of his team), described the new centre as the ideal setting to display the latest vehicles entering the market. “Modern cars require a modern dealership, and this one is exceptional, with a fresh take on branding and customer experience,” he said.
