Conditions of Acceptance

1. General
These Conditions of Acceptance apply to all advertisements and sponsored content submitted to and published by Motor Trade News (hereafter referred to as “the Publisher”). By placing an order, the Advertiser agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions.

2. Acceptance of Advertisements
The Publisher reserves the right to refuse, amend, withdraw, or otherwise deal with any advertisement submitted for publication at its absolute discretion and without explanation. The Publisher does not guarantee the placement, positioning, or publication of any advertisement unless explicitly agreed in writing.

3. Advertiser Responsibility
The Advertiser warrants that all materials submitted comply with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards, including but not limited to intellectual property rights, advertising codes, and data protection laws. The Advertiser assumes full liability for any claims, costs, damages, or losses arising from the publication of their advertisement.

4. Errors and Omissions
The Publisher will not be liable for errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in published advertisements. The Advertiser must notify the Publisher of any errors within 48 hours of publication. The Publisher may, at its discretion, provide a correction or re-publication, but this shall not entitle the Advertiser to any refund or compensation.

5. Payment Terms
Unless otherwise agreed, all advertising fees are payable in advance. Credit accounts may be granted at the Publisher’s discretion, subject to satisfactory credit checks. Payments must be made within the agreed terms. Late payments may incur interest charges and suspension of further advertising.

6. Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be made in writing and received at least five working days before the publication deadline. Failure to meet this deadline may result in full charges being applied. The Publisher reserves the right to charge for any work undertaken before cancellation.

7. Indemnity
The Advertiser agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Publisher, its employees, and affiliates against any claims, demands, damages, or legal proceedings resulting from the publication of their advertisement.

8. Limitation of Liability
The Publisher’s liability in connection with any advertisement shall not exceed the amount paid by the Advertiser for the specific advertisement in question. Under no circumstances shall the Publisher be liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages.

9. Changes to Terms
The Publisher reserves the right to amend these Conditions of Acceptance at any time. Advertisers will be notified of any changes, and continued advertising will be deemed acceptance of the updated terms.

10. Governing Law
These Conditions of Acceptance shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
