Scotland based Eastern Western Motor Group, has acquired Phoenix Honda in Stirling from the Phoenix Car Company for an undisclosed sum.

Eastern Western will now represent Honda at three dealerships, with sites in Edinburgh, Fife already operational within the group. 

The acquired dealership will be rebranded as Western Honda. Redevelopment work is already under way on a brand new purpose-built Honda facility, with an expected launch date in summer 2018.

Keith Duncan, managing director at Western Honda, commented: “This acquisition is an extremely exciting time for us at Western Honda, not only helping to further cement our relationship with the Honda franchise, but also assisting in our strategy to grow and develop with our existing brand partners in new geographical territories. We look forward to working with Western Honda Stirling.”  

Western Honda dealer principal, Bill Mattocks, added: “We look forward to welcoming all the staff from Phoenix Honda and building upon the already strong working relationship we have with them. Phoenix Honda’s general manager, Donald Campbell, has been with the brand for the past 12 years and brings a wealth of experience with him. With plans now finalised for a purpose-built Honda facility in Stirling, this really is an exciting time for us; watch this space!”
