Group 1 Automotive official launched the Seat’s Westfield London retail store with the help of the celebrity Jodie Kidd, and Seat UK director, Richard Harrison.
Seat White City offers over 240m² retail space: four display cars, lifestyle merchandise and a ‘Connectivity Bar’. The store is supported by a separate ‘Experience Centre’ housing 10 SEAT models for test drive and ‘New Car Handover Area’.
The White City launch follows this year’s launch of the brand’s first ever global store at intu Lakeside in Essex. The urban retail stores are part of Seat’s ‘Easy to access, Easy to buy, Easy to own’ strategy. Seat White City has created 13 permanent, full-time, jobs. The store aims to give the brand visibility to Westfield’s 27 million annual visitors.
Consumers can make use of several 22-inch digital car information “kiosks”, where they can also configure their ideal car, explore financing options and arrange test drives for that moment, or, for a future point in time. The multimedia focus continues with in-store 138-inch video walls and a exterior bulkhead screen . Seat Store also has its own dedicated website (www.seat-store.co.uk), where customers can receive a part-exchange valuation, by simply entering their car details (age/mileage/condition) and the price will be honoured with a 30 day guarantee.At the new store’s launch
