Essex classic car dealer JD Classics have announced that they are to host a special breakfast event featuring former Formula 1 champion Jenson Button.
The 2009 world champion will be the guest speaker at JD Classics’ breakfast morning on October 22. Held at the home of JD Classics’ concours restorations and motorsport preparations in Maldon, the events have previously hosted appearances from Derek Bell, Sir Stirling Moss and Ross Brawn.
Guests will have the chance to look around JD Classics’ site, featuring metalwork, paint and engine shops, as well as seven showrooms. The JD Classics team of expert craftsmen and engineers will also be on hand to answer any questions. Button’s world championship-winning Brawn GP car will also be on display.
JD Classics founder Derek Hood said, “Our breakfast mornings have very quickly made a name for themselves as a magnet for automotive enthusiasts. We love opening the doors to the Maldon site to the public, giving them a behind-the-scenes look at all the amazing work we do here, from our Pebble Beach concours restorations to Monaco Historique-winning racing cars.
