H. R. Owen’s partnership with motor yacht distributor, Sunseeker Torquay, has resulted in a pop up showroom based at Darthaven Marina, in Devon.

The showroom is operating within the H.R. Owen Ecurie business and will remain open until the end of September 2017. Ecurie is not tied to any one manufacturer, offering high end pre-owned vehicles. Having already worked with Sunseeker Torquay for a number of years, Ecurie Brand Director Craig Davison agreed the partnership to take the very best cars to a new and relevant audience.

Craig Davison commented: “H.R. Owen continually seek to innovate the market and make the buying experience as pleasurable and simple as possible. Darthaven Marina will play host to a number of yacht owners this summer, many of whom will also own a selection of luxury cars, or will have a strong interest in purchasing one. By positioning ourselves at the very heart of the marina we are ideally located to offer H.R. Owen service with the convenience of not having to travel to a dealership. We look forward to meeting customers old and new, and fully expect the partnership to be a great success for both partners.”

For the opening of the venture, seven cars were taken across Darthaven Marina using the Dartmouth Lower Ferry. On display were two 2012 McLaren MP4 supercars, 1989 Rennsport Porsche 911, 2015 Bentley Continental GTV8, 2017 Lotus Exige 380 Sport, 2016 BAC Mono and a 2009 Ferrari F430 16M Scuderia Spider.

Tom Wills Director at Sunseeker Torquay said: “To see the cars on the water alongside one of our newest yachts was a sight to behold and a great way to announce our opening. The synergy between superyachts and supercars is well-known and we are proud to open our doors to customers of both brands for the summer season.”
