Evans Halshaw has extended its ‘Car Store’ used car brand with the opening of a new site in Glasgow.

Located at Kennedy Street in Glasgow, the new site follows in the footsteps of 10 other Car Store sites under the Evans Halshaw umbrella across the UK. The new site has hundreds of used cars in stock and access to the Pendragon owned group’s stock of 20,000 used vehicles. The site features the brand’s ‘Move Me Closer’ advisors, and an onsite café area which allows consumers to browse Evans Halshaw’s online stock and arrange appointments to view cars that are not physically present.  The site also offers Servicing and MOT facilities, with Parts, Tyres and While You Wait Appointments.

The Evans Halshaw ‘Car Store’ brand expansion is in line with Pendragon’s focus on the used market in 2017 and beyond.  In its April trading update Chief Executive, Trevor Finn, commented: “Pendragon has made a strong start to 2017 with significant growth in our key market areas of aftersales and used.  Our revenue growth in the used vehicle sector was over 23%, which is significantly ahead of our annual target of double digit growth and ensures we remain on track to achieve our long term target of doubling used vehicle revenues by 2021.
