JCT600 Vehicle Leasing Solutions has confirmed a £200,000 contract to supply 11 new vehicles to Wyndham Vacation Rentals UK (WVR).
Five Ford Transit Connect vans and six Ford Fiesta vans, all with Cumbrian Cottages and Yorkshire Cottages branding, were delivered to WVR’s head office in Earby, Lancashire. The four year contract hire agreement provides the company with full maintenance, including tyres and breakdown cover.
The vehicles will be put to use by the company’s maintenance team as it looks after its cottages in and around Windermere and Keswick in Cumbria and Grassington in Yorkshire. The vans were chosen specifically because of their compact size – providing the team with sufficient capacity to carry equipment, but being small enough for narrow, rural lanes.
JCT600 Vehicle Leasing Solutions sales support manager Louise Sutton, explained: “WVR UK has been a customer of JCT600 since 2009, but until now its commercial vehicles have always been owned outright. Moving the entire commercial fleet onto a contract hire agreement was a big change for them, so we made sure we were on hand to provide extra support for the team that would be using the vans.
