HEVRA launches bodyshop membership to boost EV repair standards
The Hybrid and Electric Vehicle Repair Alliance has introduced a dedicated membership scheme to support bodyshops in developing EV repair capabilities.
HEVRA (Hybrid and Electric Vehicle Repair Alliance) has launched a new Bodyshop Membership programme to help bodyshops adapt to growing demand for electric vehicle (EV) repairs and maintain high industry standards.
As the EV parc expands, bodyshops are under increasing pressure to stay ahead with specialist skills, tools and procedures. HEVRA’s new scheme provides members with technical support, vehicle-specific repair guides and exclusive access to tools and structured test plans to streamline EV repairs and reinforce credibility in a competitive market.
Benefits include unlimited access to technical support via phone, email and WhatsApp, vehicle-specific documentation, access to HEVRA’s online repair portal and branding rights for certification as a HEVRA-recognised EV repairer.
Craig Scragg, technical services manager at HEVRA, said: “Members benefit from a network of like-minded professionals committed to delivering high-quality service. The collaborative nature of the network fosters referrals and recommendations, further strengthening the credibility of bodyshops under the HEVRA banner and providing hands-on support and resources to help bodyshops build their reputation as EV specialists.”
The membership is designed to give bodyshops the operational edge needed to keep pace with the EV market while enabling technicians to deliver more accurate and efficient repair processes backed by trusted guidance and tools.
