GTG Apprentice Celebration

Glasgow Training Group (GTG) has held an event celebrating the graduation of 80 apprentices, across automotive and technical sectors.

The event, hosted by radio DJ Ewen Cameron, represented the end of up to three years’ training for some apprentices.

The apprentices worked for GTG’s parent company, Arnold Clark, as well as smaller independent companies.

Billy Hammond, GTG’s managing director said: “We are incredibly proud of every apprentice who has walked through our doors.”

“We look forward to watching each graduate thrive and apply what they’ve learned at GTG to their future roles and beyond.”

GTG was purchased by Arnold Clark in 2003, and trains apprentices in technical automotive disciplines, as well as in HGV driving, and other industries such as IT.

Technical courses offered by GTG range from technician’s courses for light and heavy vehicles, to MOT training and body repair courses.

Training centres across Scotland and the West Midlands are operated by GTG.
