Evans Halshaw has partnered with electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer Leapmotor to open two new EV dealerships in Leeds and Hull, marking a strategic move to expand its electric vehicle offering in Yorkshire.

The Leapmotor sites are located within the existing Evans Halshaw Citroën Leeds and Evans Halshaw Vauxhall and Peugeot Hull dealerships.

Each location offers access to Leapmotor’s electric range, including the compact T03 city car and the spacious C10 SUV.

Customers can also take advantage of 24-hour test drives to experience the new EV models first-hand.

Steve Spicer, group vice president of Stellantis at Evans Halshaw, said: “We’re excited to lead the way in this next chapter of the UK’s electric vehicle market.

“Our customers trust Evans Halshaw for our integrity and strong local presence, and now we’re proud to extend that trust into the future of mobility with Leapmotor.

“We’re delighted to be bringing cutting-edge innovation to both new and loyal customers in Leeds and Hull.”

Evans Halshaw aims to provide a seamless transition into electric motoring for new customers.

The addition of Leapmotor expands the dealer’s Stellantis brand portfolio, offering a wider choice for those looking to switch to electric.

Both sites are equipped with modern facilities and a state-of-the-art workshop, with manufacturer-trained technicians offering full servicing support for Leapmotor models.

Flexible finance options are also available to support buyers entering the EV market.

The partnership reinforces Evans Halshaw’s role as a forward-thinking automotive retailer, supporting the shift towards sustainable transport while continuing to serve customers across Citroën, Vauxhall and Peugeot with new and used vehicles, as well as aftersales services.
