Diesel Technic has moved to electronic trading through PACT, the exclusive distributor of TecCom and eparts in the UK and Ireland, in a bid to simplify and accelerate its ordering processes for distribution partners.

The change allows partners to access real-time stock and pricing information, reducing reliance on email and phone queries.

Mark Todd, general manager at Diesel Technic, said: “This means our partners can instantly respond to their customers’ needs and easily order DT Spare Parts to support their local markets.”

With growing demand for Diesel Technic’s extensive DT Spare Parts range – comprising around 45,000 products and supported by a 24-month guarantee – the company saw a need to enhance the efficiency of its order management.

“We were managing a high volume of orders and enquiries by email and phone, with our partners looking to check price and availability,” said Todd. “By integrating PACT alongside our Partner Portal, we’re streamlining this process, enabling faster, more accurate responses from order placement to dispatch, and enhancing the efficiency and quality of our customer-focused solutions.”

Todd added that the rollout, supported by the PACT team, was completed without disruption. “We were able to roll this out quickly, with no issues, delivering a brand new and seamless customer experience.”

Mark Rudge, director at PACT, said: “The shift to PACT can deliver immediate value for our customers. It will greatly enhance service levels, making it even easier for everyone in the market to do business.”
