Through Thirty Under 30, Automechanika Birmingham intends to celebrate young talent in the automotive aftermarket industry.

Automechanika Birmingham celebrated young industry talent, with its inaugural ‘Thirty Under 30’ Awards ceremony.

The ceremony, held on 3rd June, in partnership with the Institute of the Motor Industry (IMI), received more than 50 nominations.

The shortlisted candidates came from sectors such as dealerships, engineering, marketing, product development, sales, and workshops.

Through Thirty Under 30, Automechanika Birmingham intends to celebrate the young talent that is shaping the future of the automotive aftermarket industry.

Agatha Pounds, marketing manager at Messe Frankfurt UK, said: “The calibre of entries we received for the first-ever Thirty Under 30 has been truly inspiring.

“These young professionals are not only achieving incredible things early in their careers – they’re also shaping the future of the automotive aftermarket.

“From technical innovation to leadership and customer service excellence, the shortlist represents a new wave of ambition, skill and purpose within our industry.”

Finalists ranged from apprentices to senior managers, in roles ranging from engineering to entrepreneurs.
