Scots motor dealer group Peter Vardy are putting the finishing touches to their CarStore, car supermarket branch which is scheduled to open on Dundee’s Dunsinane Industrial Estate on May 13th.

For what will be their 12th dealership, Peter Vardy have taken on an 8.5 acre brown-field site, previously used by the Valentines Card Factory, and have built a 70,000 square foot indoor showroom with room for more than 500 vehicles.

Talking about his firm’s latest venture, Chief Executive Peter Vardy, said “Work on our state-of-the-art Dundee CarStore is well under way, and we can’t wait till 13th May to throw open our doors to the car-buying public of Dundee.

“Providing the east coast of Scotland with a destination dealership of this scale and quality is something I have wanted to do for a while. I want the people of Dundee to be able to take their time in comfortable surroundings while they find the car of their dreams.”

The Glasgow Peter Vardy CarStore branch opened in 2014, in its first year of trading it sold over 3,500 vehicles and more than 4,000 in it’s second. The Group also operate franchised dealerships for Vauxhall, Jaguar, Land Rover, Porsche, BMW and MINI.
