The Freeman of the City of Oxford, one of the longest established guild organisations in the country, have awarded Marshall Motor Group’s Digital Marketing Executive, Ellie Baker, an “Apprentice Award in Marketing” at their annual Freemen Apprentice Awards.

Congratulating Baker, who works at the firm’s Maserati Oxford dealership, on her accolade, Marshall Motor Group’s Head of Marketing Philip J. Deacon, said “I was delighted to nominate Ellie for this award as she has put a tremendous amount of effort in on the development of Marshall Motor Group’s digital presence. Ellie passed her first year Digital Marketing apprenticeship with flying colours and became a full time member of staff in 2016 and is now studying Level 3 Digital Marketing qualification.”

Somewhat taken aback by the award, Baker added, “It was completely unexpected to be awarded Apprentice Award in Marketing but I am very thankful to have received it. I think it shows that the hard work you put in really does pay off and make it worthwhile. I also think it spreads awareness of Apprenticeships and shows what they can lead to.”
