JCT600 has cut the ribbon on its £1.1m Vauxhall Bradford redevelopment.  The launch follows a seven month construction project.

The opening event for the showroom on Sticker Lane, Bradford, was attended by Brand Director, Les Cooper, The Lord Mayor of Bradford and JCT600 Chairman Jack Tordoff MBE.

The redevelopment project involved the previous dealership, which occupied the site since 1987, being demolished and replaced with a brand new building with 1,000sq m of floor space. The new site incorporates Vauxhall’s latest interior design and customer comfort features, including a cafe bar, toilets with baby changing facilities and a dedicated customer vehicle handover bay as well as a kids zone with iPad and gaming station.

The site also features an energy-efficient LED lighting scheme and a number of upgrades have also been made to the workshop.

Mark Taylor, group property director, commented: “After almost 30 years on this site, Vauxhall is one of our longest established franchises and we felt that our loyal customers deserved the benefits of a complete re-build rather than simply redeveloping our existing showroom.”

“The design of car showrooms has come a long way in recent years with all of the leading motor retailers giving priority to making the customer experience as pleasant as possible.  We are confident that our customers will enjoy the upgraded facilities and additional features now provided at Vauxhall Bradford.”
