SsangYong has expanded its network to Douglas on the Isle of Man, following the appointment of Eurocars. The dealers will operate the SsangYong franchise from its premises at Peel Road, Douglas, Isle of Man.

Eurocars’ first Isle of Man showroom opened its doors in 1975 at Kingswood Grove and in 1976 the company was appointed agents for Citroen. The business moved to its current premises on Peel Road in 1991. In 1993 the Renault franchise was added, followed by Peugeot in 1998. In 2004 Eurocars aquired the Toyota, Lexus and Vauxhall franchises and premises at the IOM Business Park, adding BMW to that site in 2005.

Paul Williams, CEO of SsangYong Motor UK commented on the appointment: “We and our dealers are focused on giving customers great service, so whether buying a new or used SsangYong, choosing accessories or helping to maintain their car in the years ahead, we are confident customers will appreciate the car, their dealer and the brand.”
