Snows Group has acquired City Motor Holdings’ Citroën, Citroën DS, and Peugeot dealerships in Basingstoke. The deal brings the Group’s total number of dealerships up to thirty-four.
The three acquired dealerships will now trade as Snows Citroën, Snows DS, and Snows Peugeot. Snows, who also acquired SEAT Yeovil in September 2016, now represents thirteen different marques.
Snows Group Board Director Neil McCue commented: ‘Snows Group representatives have visited the Basingstoke sites several times over recent weeks to ensure that we put our best foot forward for employees and customers alike, and we are pleased to have the opportunity to deliver the Group’s expertise to a wider community. This latest acquisition represents a continuation of our key objectives; that is, to grow our network of dealerships across the South and South West so that we can provide greater choice, and therefore a better experience, to our customers’.
The acquired sites are located at the same industrial park as the Group’s existing KIA and Volvo franchises in Houndmills. Existing Citroën, DS, and Peugeot customers will be contacted by Snows Group shortly regarding the change of ownership.
