Robins & Day Peugeot in the Surrey town of Walton on Thames, has just completed a £1.5million redevelopment of it’s 80 year old building.

The operation on Hersham Road knocked down its building in June 2016 and the team moved into temporary structures on site supplied by specialist temporary building firm Spaciotempo.

The dealership was then completely rebuilt with a new open plan showroom giving a more comfortable environment with a larger waiting area and additional seating.

For the official re-opening Robins & Day Walton laid on a summer party with a bouncy castle, cocktails, ice cream, hot dog stands and a DJ. Throughout the two days, team members also hosted a range of open workshop demonstrations, including how to re-gas a car’s air conditioning and an engine diagnostics check, which helps identify problems such as low fluid levels or increased engine temperature.

Talking about the work they have had done, Dealer Principal, Bill Davey, said, “The huge investment into the new building highlights our commitment to giving our customers the best possible experience when visiting us and has allowed us to improve the level of products and services we offer. I would like to thank everybody who has been involved in constructing our new Dealership which we have been planning for many years.

“The opening event was an opportunity to show the local community our new look and we had a great weekend of celebrations. We have already received fantastic feedback and we look forward to welcoming more customers to the new showroom in the coming year.”
