Snows Group has acquired Car Shop Ltd.’s Seat dealership on the Lynx West Trading Estate in Brympton Way, Yeovil for an undisclosed sum.
The dealership, Snow’s first in Somerset, is being re-named Snows Seat Yeovil, and joins the firm’s existing five other Seat dealerships across the South of England.
Originally owned by Richard Singleton, who established Car Shop in 1990 and was took on the Seat franchise in 1995. Singleton is now retiring from the motor industry.
Snows Group have been Seat franchisees since 1991. The new branch will be run by Snows Group Director Neil McCue and Franchise Manager Sam Patterson.
Talking about their new dealership, McCue said, ‘Working in tandem with the Group’s five other SEAT dealerships – based in Poole, Portsmouth, Salisbury, Southampton, and on the Isle of Wight – Snows SEAT Yeovil will lead the way for Snows Group in Somerset. We look forward to greeting the local community for what promises to be a long-lasting and rewarding relationship, and we hope that this will be the first of many Snows Group dealerships in the county’.
