Lookers’ launched their new multi-million-pound Land Rover showroom in Battersea, on Saturday 24th January 2015.

Lookers invested in the development of the facility with the aim of making it the most modern and ‘green’ in the group’s network.  The new showroom incorporates the very latest cloud technology to enable its staff to interact more freely with their customers.  The showroom is also 40% larger than its predecessor, and as a result can have up to 24 Land Rover models on display at any one time.

Lookers Land Rover Battersea now has 70 staff on-site in both sales and service roles, which is almost double the number previously located at the site. Gordon Haining, Land Rover Franchise Director at Lookers, said: “Our significant investment in this showroom will allow us and Land Rover to maintain our position as the leading lifestyle marque in London and the Home Counties from this strategically-positioned Battersea base.

“This new iconic showroom will also provide the perfect platform and ideal showcase for the series of new car innovations to come, including the UK debut of the dynamic new Discovery Sport.”

The showroom launch event featured a first look at the new limited edition Holland & Holland Range Rover. The vehicle is the result of a partnership between British rifle maker Holland & Holland and Land Rover.  The project had the stated aim of delivering ‘unprecedented levels of luxury and comfort to [Land Rover’s] premium model, the Autobiography Black’.  The production will be limited to just 40 per year for the next three years
