Dealer group Peter Vardy Limited, have unveiled the plans for their new Jaguar Land Rover dealership which opens in Aberdeen in 2015.

The dealership on Wellington Road will have a 125-bay indoor used car showroom, a 21-bay new car showroom and a 45-bay demonstrator and new car external display.

In addition to dedicated handover lounge and bays, a business lounge will provide facilities to stay interconnected and there will be a cafe and children’s zone.

Aftersales facilities will include a 28-bay workshop with a process-driven parts and service layout.

Talking about the new dealership, Peter Vardy said, “Jaguar and Land Rover are premium brands and we intend our new dealership to reflect the quality, workmanship and sheer excitement of the vehicles we will be selling and maintaining. We are very much looking forward to welcoming the people of Aberdeen and Scotland to share in one of the most exciting ventures the company has ever undertaken.”

As a business Peter Vardy donates 10% of annual profits to charity and supports the communities in which it operates. In Aberdeen, it is partnering with Aberdeen based social enterprise charity Glencraft, which provides career opportunities for disadvantaged, disabled and visually-impaired employees.

As a result of the partnership and support from Peter Vardy, Glencraft has been able to moving to new modern premises at the site currently occupied by Peter Vardy Aberdeen Vauxhall.

Carl Hodson, general manager at Glencraft, said, “This is an extraordinary opportunity which secures Glencraft’s long term future.”
