Arnold Clark has launched its new Armadale Citroen facility with a fun-filled open weekend hosted by Real Radio’s Ewen and Cat.

The dealership laid on a variety of entertainment, throughout the last weekend of March as while making charitable donations to Armadale Academy, the Armadale Falcons 2002 football team and the River Kids charity.  Each of the charities received cheques for £400 during the launch weekend.

Another focus of the weekend was the launch of the new Citroen Grand C4 Picasso. The dealership had a Grand C4 filled with balloons and Armadale Academy pupils charged guests £1 to guess how many balloons were in the car in order to raise funds for the school.

The buzz around the event paid dividends for the dealer group.  An all-time sales record for the Armadale Citroen branch was recorded with the highest ever number of cars sold by the end of the weekend.

Citroen Franchise Manager Liam Burns commented: “We were overwhelmed at the number of customers who came along to our open weekend, proving that Arnold Clark Citroen really is part of the Armadale community. We were also delighted to see some of our loyal customers, some who have been our customers for more than 20 years, and to show them round our fantastic new facility here in Station Way.”

Arnold Clark is Europe’s largest independently owned, family-run car company.   The group retains a stock of over 15,000 cars for sale at any one time across its 200 car dealerships in the UK.
