The organisers of the 2012 Commercial Vehicle Show and Workshop 2012 have announced that, as in previous years, www.cvshow.com and www.workshopshow.co.uk now have links to the ticket application process.
Prospective show visitors clicking on the 'free tickets' panel on the home page, can register their application and immediately receive their barcoded entry ticket. For 2012, the process is entirely online and visitors will simply need to print their ticket and bring it to the Show, where it will be scanned at the entrance.
By adopting this 'green ticket' process, the CV Show will considerably reduce its carbon footprint, in line with the road transport industry's objectives. For the very few visitors without online access, a hotline telephone number will be available.
Talking about the process, RHA Chief Executive Geoff Dunning said, "I am delighted that exhibitor bookings for the 2012 Show have already surpassed expectations. We now have over 280 exhibitors booked. That's an increase of 49% compared to this time last year, which has resulted in over 23,000 square metres of space reserved, 44% more than 2011. Road freight transport has always been an accurate barometer for the UK economy and we are confident that this year's Show will be a tremendous crowd puller; there really will be something there for everyone."
The show websites also list more than 120 product categories where visitors can check exhibitors' products.
