Top award for Tracker Fleet

tracker logTracker Fleet has won the Technology Award at the Van Fleet World 2012 Honours.

The latest award recognises the unique features of Tracker Fleet, such as patented Transient Voltage Detection technology. This detects electrical noise to more accurately determine when an engine is running and eliminating false 'idling' readings. It has also recently launched Battery Powered Tracker Fleet which monitors and locates non-powered assets, including port-a-cabins, containers, trailers and powered vehicles where connection is not practical or not possible.

Fleet managers can customise Tracker Fleet's reporting suite to allow users to select their own Key Performance Indicators to be highlighted on the dashboard, providing a single view of their fleet's activity. As well as delivering information crucial to the smooth and safe running of a fleet, such as speeding and exceeding mileage limits, vehicles can be arranged into groups of use, such as sales, service or by region or depot and have identifiers added to them.

Commenting on the award, Stephen Doran, managing director of Tracker, said: "This is a fantastic win and we will continue to develop our fleet product ensuring we address the on-going requirements of SME customers operating a few vehicles, through to large organisations with fleets numbering thousands."

Van Fleet World editor, John Kendall, added: "The launch of Tracker Fleet has reinforced the company's position as an innovative and ambitious fleet telematics provider. The Tracker team has demonstrated that it has the ability to develop and manage solutions that offer clear benefits to fleet managers."
